Yet Another Link Aggregator?
This project was built out of frustration with reddit, twitter, facebook, and instagram all becoming enshitified.
Here is my vow: I will go to all lengths to protect this project from the propaganda of wealthy and powerful people. We want normal users able to share and post. We do not want you being drowned out by power users and propagandists and anyone else looking to take advantage.
The goal is not to make a profit, the goal is to just build a quality and trustworthy link aggregator. We just want stability and safety.

Shared Ownership
I have no idea how to do this, and do not have the funds to hire anyone to solve it. Probably its complex to solve cooperative ownership of a social media website. However, this is the long term goal and I wanted to state it clearly.
We want you to be a partial owner of this project. We want to follow in the footsteps of projects like Subvert.fm where thy are solving cooperative ownership.
Squash The Propaganda!
Remember the internet before all the bots and propagandists learned how to control everything?
This is a hard task, but we will take it on. This goal is a main reason why this cannot be an open-source project. We need to be able to build tools to protect. The logic and rules of those tools cannot be exposed to the attackers.
The details of what this means is a project unto itself. I'm just giving you the north star. We must solve this if and when we grow.
Privacy & Protections
The US government might one day come for our data. As this project grows we'll adjust however the community needs it to adjust.
This project is hosted on German owned Hetzner servers in Ashburn, Virginia. All the data can be moved to EU at the click of a button, if we have the funds for that.
Creator
My name is Robert Conner. I'm just an old-school tech guy. I had the resources to build this, I knew how to build this, so I built it. I've worked building backend systems in finance, healthcare, and the security industries. I'm bringing all of my experience together into this projects.
This project will be nothing if its just one guy at a keyboard building it out. (and that is fine if that happens)
Reach out. I'm open to any level of collaboration. Administrators, moderators, builders -- we need it all if this is going to succeed. As long as we can agree on the north star of people and not profits.
